Equality & Diversity
The Association has adopted an Equality and Diversity Policy, the principal aim of which is to value the diversity of individuals and to seek to ensure that the diversity in our society is reflected in the Association’s workforce, among its residents and Board Members. It believes that diversity adds value to the Association and enables it to further meet the needs of the diverse individuals and communities it serves.
The Association seeks to be a truly open, accessible and diverse organisation. It intends that the Association is a professional body in which everybody involved in its activities can participate, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
The Association’s Equality and Diversity Policy is a statement of principles established by the Board of Management which sets out its key objectives in respect of Equality and Diversity, and will dictate how both staff and the Board should undertake their respective duties.
