The Income Management Team can help you choose the best way for you to make payments for your rent or other tenancy debts.

If you have difficulty making a payment we can help if you need to apply for benefits, or to work out the best way to catch up with your payments.

Missed Payments

Most tenants pay their rent on time, however occasionally difficulties can happen.

Therefore, if you need to talk to us or if you cannot make a payment please let us know by emailing or phoning 0300 111 3030

How we can help

  • We may be able to help you by working out an agreed payment plan to catch up with a missed payment.
  • Advice on how to apply for Housing Benefit and help with filling forms
  • Advice on other benefits that may be available to increase your income

If you don’t pay your rent

If you don’t pay your rent you could lose your home.  We will try to help you all we can if you are in financial difficulties, but your rent arrears must be paid.  If you do not pay your rent and stick to agreements made, the Association will need to take court action for repossession of your home.

We rely on you to pay your rent regularly. As with any other business, we need money coming in so we can continue to operate. Most importantly, paying your rent on time means we can continue to manage and maintain your home to the high standard you rightly expect from us.
